Receiving a SAR Research Grant provided me the foundation to launch a multicenter study on imaging predictors of aggressiveness in cystic renal masses. Through this grant, I was able to foster new collaborations across 10 institutions around the world and shape research that I hope will refine future management guidelines.

This grant from the SAR was the first I’d ever submitted, which allowed me to experience and learn about the process of grant writing firsthand. The input and mentorship from the SAR Research Committee was invaluable in helping shape my research project and provide directions for future research. I learned a lot!
