Notable 2024 donation: Dr. Erich Lang donated $50,000 in his estate to SAR:

Erich Lang spent his career as a Pioneer in Uroradiology and was a leader is discovery and innovation. After finishing his residency at Johns Hopkins in 1959 he had a stellar career at Indiana University, LSU in New Orleans (where he was Chairman), Johns Hopkins Hospital and SUNY at Downstate. His research and publication record (over 400 publications) focused on topics in Interventional Radiology and CT scanning. He was President of the Society of Uroradiology in 1986 and committed to the society and its subsequent merger into the Society of Abdominal Radiology. He was a strong supporter of education and funded several Lectureships including at Johns Hopkins and SUNY Downstate. His vision and enthusiasm will be missed by all.
