Additional Information: The abdominal imaging fellowship at University of Michigan is an MR-predominant fellowship (>4 months of MRI experience). Additional training in CT and US rounds out residency experiences, particularly given our complex oncologic, post-surgical, and transplant populations. Substantial percutaneous interventional training (biopsy, drainage, and ablation) using US, CT, and MRI guidance is exclusively taught by abdominal cross-sectional faculty. Four weeks of elective time allows trainees to explore or brush up on skills from other domains for future employment. Our fellowship encourages development of confidence and acumen through graduated responsibility with opportunities for independent final signature in a supported environment.
