We encourage participation of junior, mid-career and late-career abdominal radiologists. Anyone interested in hepatic imaging, specifically treatment response evaluation of HCC after locoregional or systemic therapy. While not a requirement, members of this committee usually have at least moderate volume HCC post-treatment imaging at their institution/practice. Since our goal is to publish on this topic and provide consensus statements, it is important for the members to be well versed in this complex topic. We are interested in members who are eager to get involved and take the lead on research topics and who are innovative.
New members should email the chairs of the committee with their CV and a short letter of interest. Their letter should include a brief summary of their previous work related to HCC treatment and imaging, as well as their goals and expectations as a member of this DFP.
Our DFP is only one year old. Each year we will focus on a few topics and break into sub-committees that will report back to the main DFP quarterly. This DFP is a great way to conduct high-quality multi-disciplinary research.
While we do not have a membership cap, if a member has not responded to emails or participated in meetings for 12 months, we ask them to rotate off in order to provide opportunities for new members.
