Cholangiocarcinoma DFP - Frequently Asked Questions
This is a new DFP, and we are actively recruiting new members who have a strong interest in Cholangiocarcinoma. We welcome applications from all SAR members with an interest in clinical care, education, and research of Cholangiocarcinoma.
Individuals wishing to apply for membership to the Cholangiocarcinoma DFP should email the Chairpersons:
- a copy of their CV.
- a brief one paragraph detailing why they wish to join the DFP and what potential contributions that they can bring towards the advancement of the clinical care, research, and/or education of Cholangiocarcinoma.
Applications will be reviewed by the panel leadership, and a majority vote will result in admission.
Expectations for new members:
- attend 50% of monthly meetings.
- periodically present at quarterly journal clubs.
- participate in at least 1 of 5 subcommittees:
- Education.
- Research.
- Reporting.
- Technical.
- Social media.
- AI
No membership cap.
Early career applicants will be considered within 6 years of finishing their last year of training. Applicants will apply according to the same above process. Accepted members will be assigned a mentor for the first year of DFP-related activities. Newly accepted members will be asked to complete at least one DFP project in their first year of membership.
