What requirements, if any, are there for new members to join your DFP/ETC?
No specific requirements. UOC DFP is open to anyone interested in the topic.
What is the new member application and approval process?
New members may directly reach out to Kate or me, or use the form on the DFP page.
What can new members expect once they join your DFP/ETC?
Kate or I reach out to them to welcome them to the DFP and provide some background information. We also ask the members to fill out a google form so that we have their contact information, demographic, early career or not, interests within the DFP area, and availability/interest in participating in various DFP activities. They can also send us their specific project ideas through the form.
Does your DFP/ETC have a membership cap?(NB: The oversight committee does not mandate a cap)
There is no cap. However, this year we cleared out any inactive members and those not interested participating in the DFP.
